Hi! Hello! Namaste!

This Tamilian raised in Goa who speaks 7 languages, currently spends his time surviving Bombay and two domestic terrorist cats named Rasam and Spot, who firmly believe the house, the schedule and his spine belong to them. He loves films with humour, rhythm and a bit of reckless energy and montages are his love language. Storytelling is something he unintentionally practices everywhere. Sometimes, even a simple “what happened yesterday?” somehow turns into a fully structured narrative with callbacks, pacing and an ending.

As a shishya to gurus Prakash Varma and Sneha Iype, he spent the first four years of his career chasing creative nirvana before moving to Bombay to further assist names like Rob Cohen (Fast & Furious, xXx), Ayappa, Abhinay Deo, Ram Madhvani, Arun Gopalan, Vinil Mathew, Rajesh Krishnan, Vivek Daschaudhary, Shirsha Guha Thakurta and a long list of directors who made him say, “Okay wow, long way to go! These guys are legends”. Now directing after a decade of polishing his craft, he spends most of his free time referencing ads, films, frames, edits, music cues and obscure internet rabbit holes like it’s a full-time sport. He is also a disturbingly committed car researcher who regularly books test drives for cars he absolutely does not need, usually en route to a badminton or pickleball tournament.
